The nocturnal aerial view of New York in Desde el Empire State (From the Empire State) turns into a tribute to perspective. Here, Macció makes the urban grid, lost in infinity, into a kind of unending prison. Some few avenues illuminated by the headlights of the cars that circulate crisscross the city like vital nerves in the midst of an icy mesh.
